Key Responsibilities

Represent in a friendly, professional and responsible manner at all times, during both normal working hours and industry events. Maintain exceptional work ethic and adopt and maintain best working practice
Imperative that the account manager has a clear understanding of quarterly sales targets for individual accounts and for the overall business whilst maintaining the required level of profitability.

Effective upward reporting of financial data to line manager, and ensure that all relevant information is shared in order to effectively manage business expectations
Present quarterly business plans to retail and review weekly to make any applicable changes to the forecasts whilst informing marketing and finance of changes.

Stock and sales reports for each customer are obtained and checked on a weekly basis (Mondays/Tuesday) and all revenue opportunities are exploited and issues highlighted.

Ensure that each customer is visited regularly and that full minutes of the meeting are supplied back to the customer, marketing and UK sales support within 72 hours .

All orders received from retail must be accompanied by correct paperwork. Price needs to be verified with the applicable account manager prior to being processed with any exceptions to normal trading terms being signed off by Sales Director/Manager .

Paperwork must be raised and signoff obtained for all price protection, returns (both mint & faulty) marketing activity or T&C changes.
All orders placed with Operations must be accompanied with the correct paperwork showing retail breakdown and buffer stocks.

Any price protection, mint return, faulty return or marketing request received from retail should be acknowledged and actioned within 5 working days.
Ensure all retail orders for new release products are received at least 2 weeks prior to launch so that street dates are met.

JOB PURPOSE:

You will work closely with all the Account Handling team to support their administrative and co-ordination tasks to improve service to our customers by e mail and telephone thus freeing up quality time for the sales managers to concentrate on driving incremental sales. You will be the second point of call in circumstances when relevant Account Managers are unavailable for both sales accounts and agencies.

KEY TASKS:

1. Diary management and customer interface
