Submitting examples of your work

Web Designers and Programmers

Please include a list of URLs you've worked on in the main body of your CV.

Games Artists

When we submit your details to our clients we will need to send them some examples of your work to support your application.

Formats

You can send us your work in a variety of formats including:
  • CD - This is our preferred format because CDs can contain a lot of work and are easily copied
  • E-mail - This is ideal for stills and short animations - we can accept files up to 4Meg
  • On a Website - Just e-mail us the URL of your site
  • Disks - Either 3.5" Floppy or Zip disks
  • Paper work - If you don't have access to any of the other formats, we can scan both colour and b&w images up to A4 size.
  • Video - This is not ideal because we cannot make multiple copies. Please only send videos if you cannot get your work transferred to CD.
Please remember to mark all CDs and so on with your name! (and preferably telephone number too)

Types of Work

Listed below are the types of work our clients will like to see. If you don't have all of the types below or they don't relate to your work, don't worry - send us what you can.
  • Traditional Artwork - Companies will always like to see examples of your hand drawn artwork
  • Textures & 2D Artwork - If you've done textures for 3D models or digital 2D work send them as separate images
  • 3D Models - Wireframes as well as rendered images of low/high poly or NURBS models will show how you've constructed them
  • 2D Animation - If you've got 2D animation skills, include some examples even if you're interested in 3D
  • 3D Animation - Finished 3D animations are great, and we'd also like to see any sketches and textures you've done
  • Game Levels - If you've used a level editor send us a few stills from the level and one showing the whole level.
  • Audio - You'll need to demonstrate examples of music and soundfx suitable for a range of game genres
