Datascope Recruitment, the UK's number one consultancy for the games industry, is based in central London and was founded in 1991. Our consultants are industry experienced in their specialist areas. The service covers programmers, artists, designers, developers, sales, marketing and PR staff at all levels. Julien Hofer
The founder of the company. This ex-mathematician has spent time working as a programmer and now specialises in the recruitment and search and selection of senior management in games development.

Malsara Walpitagama
Malsara Walpitagama has a business degree, three years' sales and marketing experience in the interactive industry. She was also been the longest serving member of the Datascope team having been here for over 12 years! She looked after Account Management roles and Search engine optimisation specialists for the interactive media sector. Having got married recently she has left Datascope in order to pursue other interests. However, we look forward to her return in 2008, albeit in a different role.

David Rowden
David has in excess of twenty years' recruitment experience and joined Datascope over ten years ago to establish a presence in Interactive Media. David currently recruits creative and content staff at all levels, through to Senior Management.

Matt Rock
Matt studied Illustration at Loughborough University. Since then he has illustrated, animated and graphic designed for 4 years. He now assists Claire in the placement of games artists and animators.

Andrea Denton
Andrea has a degree in French from Kings College and has been recruiting games programmers for Datascope for seven years. She heads up all games recruitment.

Barry has a BA in English and Digital Publishing. He assists Andrea with Programming vacancies.

Lucy Phillips
Lucy is responsible for the recruitment of games, level and audio designers. She has an MA from Glasgow University and over seven years’ PA and office management experience. She is currently on maternity leave and her work is being handled by Ben.

Ben Garrison
With a degree in German and International Business, Ben has recently moved from our US office on secondment to join the London team and to cover Lucy's absence. He focusses on recruitment of games, level and audio designers.

Debbie Daley
Debbie has extensive experience in games recruitment (as a client) having joined Criterion Software in an Office Administrator position in 1994 - and ending her time there in the position of HR Manager in 2005. She now handles producers and development management roles.

Geoff handles sales, marketing and PR roles for the games industry. He has more than 6 years' recruitment experience and prior to that gained a Sports Science and Business degree from Southampton.

Elektra is Office Manager and PA to Julien. She has extensive experience in this capacity, and, also, has a science and engineering background, having studied towards a BSc at Queen Mary College, London.
